We were honored with the task of completely overhauling the exterior roof bar area at the Thompson Nest as well as re-designing three suites on the interior. On the interior, we were worked with the Thompson in house design team to combine a handful of rooms on different floors into larger guest suites. We also completely overhauled the interior furniture and accessories for each space to differentiate these new exclusive rooms from the standard hotel rooms.
In phase two of the project, we re-imagined the Nest, which is the Thompson Hotels roof top bar. There were many challenges to solve for on this part of the project – the biggest being the weather and the heavy use. Knowing that the Nest Bar would be a hot spot in the summer, we knew that the furniture pieces that we selected had to stand up to all the elements and heavy use while still echoing the interior vibes of the hotel. We did an extensive amount of research and worked closely with our vendors to select items that were comfortable and will stand the test of time.
